This piece was written mostly through improvising but has became one of my very favourite pieces. The main theme of the piece is in D minor, interchanging from the natural minor scale and dorian mode, in the piece I make use of the open strings of the guitar to add some colour and dissonance to the chords.
The key then changes to F# major, playing trills and resolving onto A major which is outside of F# majors diatonic sequence but shares two notes (E and C#) thus making it a chromatic mediant
The key changes once again this time to G mixolydian where the same sequence is played with trills and the chromatic mediant.
