Theory in my opinion is one of the most important aspects of Music not just for composers I have always been fascinated by the construction and process behind how music is actually made and so I have been studying music theory for as long as I have been playing and writing music and as I mentioned previously I received a distinction for my grade 8 Music theory qualification. I have provided examples of my theory knowledge, specifically with diatonic scales and harmony detailing the suitable harmony of the chords with the full extensions (I.e 9th's, 11th's and 13th's)
